CASL has selected Readicide: How Schools are Killing Reading and What You Can do About It by Kelly Gallagher as our One Book, One Conference selection. Join us for a breakfast discussion about this book on Monday morning. (Note: This book is not part of our special book order.)
Author Luncheon
Our guest author/illustrator is Charles R. Smith, Jr. Charles is the 2010 recipient of the Coretta Scott King Award for Illustration.
Luncheon Choices: Lunch is included in the registration fee. All lunches include a Mixed Field Greens Salad. The three choices are:
- Italian Herb Chicken: Marinated Breast of Chicken, Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, Mozzarella Cheese, Sherry Tomato Cream Sauce, Roasted Red Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetable
