Results that Matter
On March 24, 2006, the Partnership for 21st Century Skills released "Results That Matter: 21st Century Skills and High School Reform." The report designs a compelling framework for 21st century learning that focuses on the results that matter for today's high school graduates' success in the workplace of the present and future. Schools must teach students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers and effective communicators who are proficient in both core subjects and new, 21st century content and skills.
School Matters
School Matters is a joint project of Standard and Poor's and the National Center for
Educational Accountability's Just for Kids and is partially funded by the
U. S. Department of Education and the Broad Foundation. Although No Child
Left Behind (NCLB) requires public reporting of student academic performance,
this information is sometimes difficult to locate and compile. This user-friendly
site provides parents, educators and communities with easy access to information
about their local schools. Select a state from the map on the home page to
search for information by school or district. Enter the name of your school
to locate specific information. Tabs at the top of the screen link to specific
data.
