About the Workshop:
The Connecticut Association of School Librarians (CASL) will be sponsoring a workshop in collaboration with Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions entitled "Leadership and the School Library Media Specialist."
Keynote Speaker: Sara Kelly Johns, Candidate for ALA President and past AASL President.
Featured Speakers: Dr. Paul Maloney and Dr. Maureen Hinkley from Fairfield University will be speaking about Situational Leadership and Applications for the School Library Media Specialist. They will address Connecticut's Common Core of Learning and AASL's Empowering Learners. Dr. Maloney will also be speaking about Understanding One's Own Leadership Style and the closing address will be about the Role of Advocacy and Strategic Leadership: Partnerships, Collaboration and Envisioning Leaderships.
Schedule: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Cost: $60 non-members; $50 for CASL, CLA or CECA members; $35 for students or retirees
