The Bernice “Bunny” Yesner  School Library Media Program of the Year (BYSLMPY) Award is modeled on the American Association of School Libraries (AASL) National School Library Media Program of the Year (SLMPY).  The award honors programs that meet the principles as stated in Information Power: Building Partnerships for Learning and that provide opportunities for students to achieve standards stated in Connecticut Information and Technology Literacy Framework and AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner.

The award winner receives $1000.00.
