History:
In 1977 two high school students were given an award from CEMA (now CASL) for creating an outstanding film. The two students, Marc Johnson and Charles Searle, asked CASL to resume the award to encourage high school students to think seriously about film and video careers. They will contribute a prize of $250 per year to the winning group of high school video/ film producers.
